An Effective Former Prosecutor With the Experience to Defend You

"Restraint" means any denial, suspension or revocation of a driver's license in Colorado. Ignorance of this law, or of having been notified that your license had been revoked or suspended, is not a valid defense against restraint charges in our state.

These charges come in two categories: alcohol-related and nonalcohol-related. Punishments can range from five days in jail and a $50 fine for a first nonalcohol-related offense, to two years in jail and $3,000 in fines for a second alcohol-related conviction.
